A VPS with an application is a VPS from our range delivered with the application already installed. It is your server and your installation: you have root access and you manage it.
What it includes
- A VPS with your plan's memory, vCores and disk, in Frankfurt or Miami, with DDoS protection included.
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with the application installed from its official installer and ready to use.
- An HTTPS address of its own (what it is), and the option to use your domain whenever you want.
- The admin account already created, with the details by email and in your panel, so nobody can take over the installation before you do.
- The firewall set up, with only SSH, 80 and 443 open.
- Full root access: you can install whatever you need within the plan resources.
- Daily backups of the server, stored off the server.
- These guides, with the commands to update, set your domain and recover access.
What it does not include
- AI keys. OpenClaw and Hermes Agent run on your account with your AI provider, and that provider bills you for model usage.
- Your own application backups. On top of the server's daily backups, schedule your own application backups (database, workflows, agent memory) so you can restore it separately or move it to another server. Each application has its own backup guide.
- Management of the application by us. We do not update your installation or configure your workflows, agents or deployments.
What support covers
We help you with:
- Keeping the VPS running: power, network and your plan's resources.
- Making sure the initial installation finishes and you can log in for the first time.
- The certificate for the
astrolnodes.appaddress. - The steps in these guides: your own domain, updating, reinstalling, recovering access.
Outside our scope, because it is your own configuration: designing your n8n workflows, choosing the model, prompts, skills and channels for OpenClaw and Hermes, and the code and deployments of your applications in Dokploy. For that, each project has its official documentation, linked in its guides.
Licenses
- n8n is distributed under the Sustainable Use License (and the n8n Enterprise License for its Enterprise features): the instance is yours, for your own use.
- OpenClaw and Hermes Agent are distributed under the MIT license.
- Dokploy is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license, except the /proprietary directory of its repository.
