An AI assistant that runs on your own server (formerly called Clawdbot, then Moltbot). To answer at any hour it needs a machine that never switches off.
OpenClaw connects an AI model to your messaging channels: WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Signal and others. You message it like any contact and it answers from there.
Beyond chatting, it uses tools, skills and plugins to get things done: querying services, working with files or running processes on the server. What it can do is up to you in its configuration.
OpenClaw does not ship its own model: it connects to the provider you choose with your API key. The model runs at the provider, so the VPS does not need a GPU.
It is open-source software under the MIT licence. Its configuration and logs stay on your VPS, which includes daily backups and DDoS protection.
You choose a plan and location, pay, and the server arrives with OpenClaw installed. The login details reach you by email and in your panel.
Frankfurt for Europe or Miami for the Americas, at the same price. You can move up a plan later without reinstalling.
After payment the server is deployed with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. There is no operating system to pick: the plan already includes OpenClaw.
It takes a few minutes and leaves OpenClaw served over HTTPS on an address of your own server.
The address and access token arrive by email and show in the server panel. From there you add your AI provider key and link your channels.
