If after the trial you decide it's not for you, you pay nothing. If you keep it, billing starts the next day at the regular price.

Use your own domain with Dokploy

Use your domain for the Dokploy panel and for your deployed applications, with an automatic Let's Encrypt HTTPS certificate.

Dokploy has two separate kinds of domain: the panel domain (by default https://37-114-51-188.astrolnodes.app) and the domains of the applications you deploy. Both are set from the panel itself and Dokploy requests the HTTPS certificates for you.

1. Point the domain to your VPS

In your domain's DNS panel, create an A record for each name you will use (for example panel for Dokploy and app or www for your applications), with your VPS IP as the value. If any of them had an AAAA record that does not point to your VPS, delete it.

Important: if you use Cloudflare, keep the records as DNS only (grey cloud) at least until the certificates have been issued.

You can check that it already points there from your VPS, over SSH as root: getent ahostsv4 panel.yourcompany.com should return its IP.

2. Domain for the panel

  1. In Dokploy, open Settings → Web Server → Domain.
  2. Enter your domain, choose the Let's Encrypt certificate, enable HTTPS and save.
  3. From now on, use https://panel.yourcompany.com.

The Open Dokploy button in your client panel will keep pointing to the astrolnodes.app address; bookmark the new one.

3. Domain for your applications

  1. Open the application and go to the Domains tab.
  2. Add the domain, enter the internal port your application listens on and choose Let's Encrypt.
  3. Redeploy if Dokploy asks you to.

If you get a 502 error when opening it, the most common cause is that the internal port you entered is not the one your application uses. More detail in the Dokploy domains guide.

If you see a certificate warning

  • Check the A record and that no old AAAA record is left.
  • Check that ports 80 and 443 are still open with ufw status.
  • Look at the Dokploy proxy log: docker logs --tail 60 dokploy-traefik.
