Try it on our servers

We keep two servers open, one in Germany and one in Miami. Join from Java or Bedrock, on whatever version you run, and see how they perform before paying for anything.

If after the trial you decide it's not for you, you pay nothing. If you keep it, billing starts the next day at the regular price.

How to start your ARK server (maps, mods and connecting)

ARK servers 2 views Updated 2 Aug 2026

Pick a map, install mods in 1 click, work out the RAM you need and connect to your server.

Your ARK server deploys in a couple of minutes and is managed from the panel. ARK is resource-hungry, so the plan matters.

Pick a map and mods

  • Map: The Island, Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Fjordur…
  • 1-click mods: from Steam Workshop (ARK: Survival Evolved) or CurseForge (ARK: Survival Ascended).
  • Cluster: you can link several servers to transfer dinos and items between maps.

How much RAM do I need?

  • Small maps or few players → 6–8 GB.
  • Demanding maps or lots of mods → 12–16 GB.

If it falls short, remember you can upgrade your plan at any time.

Connect

Grab the IP:port from the panel. In ARK, the most reliable way is to open the in-game console and type open IP:port, or find your server in the unofficial list.
