What do I need to start an ARK server?
Just pick a plan. We deploy it in a couple of minutes and you manage everything from the panel: nothing to install on your PC, no ports to open.
How much RAM do I need?
ARK asks for quite a bit. For The Island with friends, 6-8 GB works well; heavy maps like Ragnarok or a big mod stack want 12-16 GB. Do not undersize it: you can upgrade anytime.
Can I install mods?
Yes, from the panel. ARK: Survival Evolved uses the Steam Workshop (set the mod IDs and they load on boot); ARK: Survival Ascended uses CurseForge for mods.
Can I run a cluster of several maps?
Yes. You can link several servers into a cluster so your tribe transfers dinos and items between maps. If you get stuck on the config, support will help.
Which maps can I use?
The official ones: The Island, Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Fjordur and more. Switch them from the panel anytime.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. Start with what you need now and scale up RAM and CPU as your community grows, without losing your world.
Is it protected against DDoS attacks?
